As is often the case with the great companies in American history, the inspiration for the innovation sometimes comes from the most unexpected of circumstances. For CelSana and Don Wayne Berry, M.D., retired Texas heart surgeon, the spark of innovation was the direct result of something dramatically simple.
A neighbor provided Dr. Berry with a salve for his troubled skin and he put it on his hand. The results were dramatic. The M.D. discovery was so remarkable in fact that Dr. Berry devoted the next decade of his life to research, testing and providing for the commercialization of a product that is going to change the world of skin care.
Dave Hobson, PHD. - Consultant
Dave Hobson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lone Star PharmTox LLC, serves as an expert pharma development and toxicology consultant to a variety of industry, government and institutional clients on various product and technology development issues.
His 30-year career in pharmaceutical and medical device discovery and development includes success in positions ranging from Principal Scientist to Corporate Vice President. He has worked in various aspects of toxicology/pharmacology research and development, including government laboratories, private research institutes, contract research laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology and nanotechnology.
